Beverly Delich
I created Silver Lining Management in 1989. My expertise encompasses organizing and producing talent contests, special events and musical theatre and talent management and consulting.
As a trained vocalist, I began working with artists on an individual basis, coaching them on their vocal and presentation skills. By combining my talent and expertise with honest and open communication, I strive to uphold strong relations and bring out the best in individuals’ skills to help them reach their potential.
For twelve consecutive years, I organized and booked entertainment during the Fair at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE), one of the largest fairs of its kind in North America. The various programs under my jurisdiction represented a multitude of talent including ethnic and cultural, country, jazz, pop, variety, classical, instrumental, dance and more.
At one local club talent contest, which I had organized, I discovered Michael Bublé. I encouraged him to enter my Youth Talent Search at the PNE and he went on to become our 1995 grand prize winner. After the competition I began working with him…liaising with various agencies and local clubs to acquire performance bookings. After I signed on as his manager, two independent CDs followed, along with performance roles in two musical stage revues, which went on to tour throughout Canada and the US. An opportune introduction to David Foster led us to Los Angeles to spend a year while David and Paul Anka produced Michael’s self-titled CD. After the CD was complete and Michael signed with Warner Bros Records, I returned to Vancouver to resume my passion and enthusiasm to work as a consultant and fulfill my dream of writing a memoir, published in 2013 by Douglas & McIntyre.
